Harrisburg, Our State Capital

Here we are in front of the beautiful state capitol building in Harrisburg, PA!

Carlisle and Dickinson College

After traveling lots of back country roads, it feels like we have finally reached civilization! We took a walk down the streets of Carlisle and visited Dickinson College. Both of my daughters, Sara and Mandy, attended Dickinson and much of our money has been invested here. I thought it deserved a visit.

It feels like we've been walking along the Susquehanna for days on Route 322. I should be coming up on civilization soon!

Cold nights

It really shouldn't be this cold in March, should it? After a long day, Sweetie and I built a bonfire to keep us warm.

Imagine my surprise when I come across the DEN Team eating breakfast at Denny's in Bedford! Well, Martha may have given me a little heads up about where they'd be, but still, it was really cool.

Pi Day

For the second year in a row, Sweetie and I find ourselves out on the road for Pi Day. That doesn't stop us from celebrating. Check out the pie we bought at a little grocery store in Lewistown.

Saying Goodbye to Penn State

Sweetie and I are on our way. We had a great time at Penn State, but we have a long road ahead.

I knew Sweetie was famous, but imagine my surprise when I saw the thousands of fans who came out to see her when we arrived at Penn State University in State College, PA. WOW!
